Flick was selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Meon Valley constituency on Monday. Following the selection, Flick said
'I was really honoured and thrilled to have been selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the Meon Valley Constituency on Monday. My parents moved to Meonstoke just over 33 years ago so it is so exciting to represent the area and people that you know well and love and call home. I am looking forward to working with all the local councillors and residents to build on the great work that Sir George Hollingbery has done over the last 9 years. As a former MP in Portsmouth South, I have the experience and knowledge to work immediately if I am elected, representing residents in Westminster and getting Brexit done so we can focus on the other polices that matter to us'.
